In the spring of 2011 I graduated from Brown University with a degree in Literary Arts, focusing mostly on playwriting. My last semester I completed and staged a thesis play, Skylark, that earnt me honours for my major.

WRITER

Right now my crowd sourced historical comedy film Scoundrel is in the later stages of post-production - go check it out! I'm also developing several concepts, mostly for screen, both independently and with with Dan Byers (of Skyship Films, with whom I created The Circle universe). Stay tuned for details/teasers. Let's just say this maelstrom of imagination involves 18th century magic; hordes of Dark Age undead; time travelling visions of afterlife and Sacred Harp music; racism, sexism, orientalism and vampires in WWI; drunken fantasy adventurer fratboys; and a whole bunch of drugs.

For now, keep up with my webseries Middle Darkness!

While at Brown I worked with accomplished writers and literary artists like Lisa D'Amour, C.D. Wright, Joanna Howard, Elmo Terry-Morgan, and Dan LeFranc. In addition to personal and class projects, I wrote for film, theatre, site specific performance, translated works from Old English and Arabic, and much more. My translation of The Wanderer was featured in Aldus magazine (you can read the issue here), and the miniseries I co-wrote, The Circle, premiered to sold-out audiences and received widespread acclaim.
